At Phoenix Design, we use a three phase approach to product development: Dream, Design, Deliver.
Dream...
Every product, whether existing, defunct, or not existing, started somewhere: in someone's head...a Dream. At this stage, a product is probably a sketch on paper or a set of notes. We can help you by doing market industry research to find what is currently available in the market. Now is also the time to do a feasibility study and patent research to find out if the product can be made, estimate the cost on a broad scale, and if there are any licenses that are currently held. We can also do a solid model rendering of the product.
Design…
This is where the fun begins. Now we have some idea what this product is, we can identify the design and functional requirements, in-house and out-of-house processes that will need to be used, and further refine the design. We will do initial drawings and assist in initial and functional prototyping also.
Deliver…
The product is almost there. We can manage outside vendors or the implementation of in-house fabrication. A first run of production prototypes is strongly suggested. This will assure that all processes work correctly and you have something to show customers to get them excited about the product. We will complete the required manufacturing drawings, and help you with revisions as needed.

About Us
Phoenix Design, Inc. was started as the dream of Chad Morgan. Chad realized that there is a need for businesses and inventors alike to get great products to market.
Inventors are sometimes confronted with the challenge of not knowing how to begin to get their idea from their head to a prospective customer. They probably have a great idea, but perhaps they don't have the engineering or manufacturing expertise to take their dream any farther.
Chad had experienced a similar dilemma faced in business. A business has good success in a market, but wants to introduce a product at the next level, and wonders if its development staff can do it. A business may also want to expand its product offering to include similar products to expand their market presence or wants to enter an entirely new market but doesn't have the expertise in-house to develop a product that will compete effectively.
While experiencing this, Chad had a cliché and a quote running through his head. "Ask an architect for a solution to a problem and get a house". Albert Einstein once said "Problems are seldom solved on the same level on which they were created".
